I need prayer!!

Guy's cigarettes are making me sick every time I smoke. I know it's bad that it had to come to this but I'm really worried and want to quit smoking. Please I just need prayer cos I feel hopeless, I feel as tho I'm to weak or maybe I really don't want to. It's tearing up my ulcers as well. I'm trying to get the right mind set and hopefully I will go and conquere this. Thanks!!!!

Will pray. The trick is to keep yourself distracted. I did well at home and while driving but struggled during breaks at work. I started picking up a newspaper on the way in and working the crossword, sudoku, and word scramble puzzles during breaks and that really helped. I know its unorthodox but I also used chewing tobacco in pouches to transition to being a non-smoker. I didn't need it nearly as often as I needed a cigarette and after a few weeks it was easy to replace with regular chewing gum.

I quit smoking after being nauseated constantly. That is a good reason to quit, if they are making you feel terrible. Jesus will lead you if you take his hand and go with him to lose this addiction. Sometimes going to a doctor can help, too. I am praying for you.
