  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Ya, relationships can't be forced to happen. If someone does force a relationship to happen, I don't know how they can get any enjoyment out of it. When both people want to get with each other, then they are a blessing.

As widow/ers, we think about relationship differently. Our last relationship was usually very good and something we miss. When you divorce, you don't have the same kind of confidence. You have to know this.

As a widow herself, she probably knows thing about this unique journey that you haven't discovered yet...and maybe she is wary for that reason.

And on a very practical side, getting married later in life means that you may find your self becoming a caregiver instead of a spouse. It is one thing to be lovingly wiping the butt of a person you spent most of a lifetime with. It is another thing to do it for someone you don't have much history with.

Take your time and bow your head over this.

Ask her out to Red Lobster, the cheese biscuits will get her out of the friend zone. I'm not sure how this escaped me the first time.
I'm pretty sure it escaped you the first time because you are too busy thinking about women in bikinis cooking your breakfast for you. ;) :p
