i have been going through some rough times, i have used every drop of my faith to get me through it, and it keeps getting worse, now i feel likeim starting too lose faith! whats happening? i know i shouldn't feel like gods not helping me, but it feels like my faith is slipping away and i dont know what to do. and i know got to church...

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Don't give up my friend. The Lord will get you through this. Remember, He always finishes the good work He starts in us. Your faith can never really be lost - it's the enemies lies that try to convince you otherwise. Don't fight this alone - try to join a cell group. That way, you'll have the support you need. It's a terrible thing for a Christian to struggle, all alone.

All of us who believe have our faith tried . In order for our faith to be purified . Which is to say that belief is often mixed with other things , such as doubt , presumption , pride ... or our faith is partly in something or someone other than Christ + God , like our works , our position , or affiliations . When trials come it can be harder to believe , and easy to question our beliefs . When John Baptist was in prison about to have his head chopped off , he began to wonder what was going on ? And sent messengers to Jesus asking if He was really The Saviour or not ? ( Because if Jesus was his Saviour , what was he doing being stuck in prison ? ) But Jesus sent word to John of how The Power of God was healing and delivering people through His Ministry , in essence telling him that He Is Indeed The Christ , and this quieted John's concerns . And what really stands out in this , is that even when John was unsure of what was going on because of his fiery trial , he still knew Who to look to for the answer .
It's seems we all have times when we are having a rough go of things , and such can give us cause to wonder and wrestle with doubt . But even then , in the midst of our doubting , deep down we still know Who it is that we need to seek for help . For once we've accepted Christ as The One & Only Saviour of the world ... there's no one else can even come close to taking His Place !
Cry out upon The Holy Name of Jesus , seeking His Mercy , Grace , and Truth .
And look to His Word for confirmation . Pray His Spirit Guide and Revive . Cast away any known hindrances , and God's Peace will confirm + comfort your soul .

Faith comes from hearing/reading. Keep reading the Word. You are probably under spiritual attack. Keep talking to God in your thoughts. Keep praising Him for His faithfullness (Because He always Is, no matter how it might seem at the time. Later you will learn that He was). Keep asking for help and wait.
Ps 37:5-7 Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him and he will do this:
6 He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, the justice of your cause like the noonday sun.
7 Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him;
PSA 55:22 Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous fall.
The feelings of hopelessness and failure are temporary. They will go away once the battle ends. Just wait.

Actually, Scripture, read the New Testament and believe what they are writing as though they are writing and speaking to you personally.
Job might help you in your situation, as well, though it can be difficult to understand.
God believes for you even in your weakest moments. When you are weakest, He is strong.
