I need help and Christian help...

I am a freshman in high school and i have a twin sister. A lot of the times, people think im gay because of the way i act. And i am made fun of for it. I havnt had a girlfriend in two years and people really are convinced im gay. I dont know what to do...

high school can be the hardest time in your life, but take heart, it won't last forever. while being called gay might not be the end of the world, i know for a teen trying to fit in it must be horrible. to be different from the crowd, to be ridiculed and called names... well, my heart feels your pain.

and i am praying for the Lord to comfort your heart. just focus on Him. read his precious words in the Bible. pray to him often (without ceasing is actually what the Bible teaches). He will be your best friend and help you through these terrible times (and through the rest of your life). live your life in Christ and nothing else will matter, ridicule or whatever. draw closer to Him and you will find acceptance.

My dear brother I really do understand what you are experiencing because I went through the same in my Junior High School days. I am an only son raised with three sisters. Because my dad worked hard all day we didn't have much time together so most of my time was spent growing up with my sisters. Needless to say I took on some of their mannerisms but I wasn't gay by no means. I just like being a tomb boy only in reverse. I was called names in school which did make me feel bad but when I found Christ at the age of 14 He placed people in my life that didn't look at me that way. I had male friends that I played with and knew me as a male in every since of the word and what those other people would say soon didn't phase me one bit.

As a Child of God surround yourself with those that are likeminded. If you haven't yet, join some youth groups in church and have fun doing things with them. Remember those of the world are tools for evil works and communication.

Father I pray for your Holy Spirit to provide strenght to my young brother and help him to overcome the opinions of others who don't know him. Surround him with Children of Faith that he will continue to enjoy his youth and grow in the love and admonition of Jesus Christ.

Dear Lord, let this brother get over his hard times and to get along with annoying classmates. Help him have peace with them eventually. Give him peace and faith, and some proper friends as well, keep hom from letting anyone else defain who he is. Give him strenght to stick up for himself and to fight the bullies. Amen!
