CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

well some pop-punk is fm static, slick shoes, hawk nelson, and beaumont
some harder punk is The Deal, the havoc, officer negative, hanover saints, the discarded, headnoise, comeback kid, and dogwood

those bands are good. the deal and hanover saints play oi music though, not punk. the discarded is no longer a band, all the members started a new one called the scarred which is 77 music (think the sex pistols with talent). officer negative freakin rules as does headnoise. im also thinkin comeback kid is more hardcore then punk, although i like those guys alot too. you should aslo check out neutron bomb, death died trying, punlic unrest minitries, the incited, triple 7, active ingrediants, Our Corpse Destroyed, human error, deploy, and ont of the greatest of all freakin time...the havoc. need more, pm me and ill hook you up

I definitely would recommend FM Static or Thousand Foot Krutch; though Thousand Foot Krutch is a little bit more rock-like. Anyways, i have the FM Static cd "What Are You Waiting For" and i really really like it!

they are more hardcore than punk. I have their cds, and i dont like them that much. As for FM Static, i have their cd, and its not bad. Its more of a very pop-rock than punk thoughmewithoutyouska said:
