Thank you all for prayers and support! I woke up like 2 hours ago and only got 5 hours sleep last night and an hour or two on the couch while waiting for supper yesterday evening (I always fall asleep in the afternoon thanks to my meds in this case it's kind of a good thing)

I pretty much know I'm manic because I couldn't sleep much at all last night and I was lucky if I got 4-4 and a half hours of sleep. It's been going on for a while now. Anyway, slight update before I went to bed my fever was completely gone but I had wicked bad chills last night and they're moderate now I'm a little cold but It's also pretty cold outside and like 68 in here. My wife started showing symptoms last night so either it's a cold and she caught it or it is in Corona.

But as soon as the doctor opens today I'm going to call and see if I can get tested sometime this week and what he recommends I do.

I got tested and ill know the results in 2-5 days. I had to see a doctor via video chat because my general physician is serving in the military for a month again. The doctor suspected I might have covid and ordered a test right away so... we will see.

She was concerned about my shortness of breath she said if it worsens over the next few days to go to ER because covid can act very quickly and because of my size im at a much higher risk. Im hoping if I test positive she will see me until I get better. She was able to calm me down and everything.

Thank you so much for your prayers guys! Our prayers worked and God came through! I'm negative for COVID and they said it is a Viral Upper Respiratory infection. I should be better in a week or two.

I would ask for the blood test. Those nasal swabs don't work.

I had four tests before the fifth one came back positive. I’m now just getting my strength back after three weeks. I spent 9 days in the hospital, with 6 in ICU. I was never intubated, but if I’d waited another day or two, I might not be typing this. I also had pneumonia with it. But God is good.

Yes I will keep this thread updated. Now that im sick I dont feel like spending anytime outside of the internet. Lol. So I'll probably be on CF a lot. Besides we called the hospital and they advised my wife and I not to leave the house at all except for the covid test. Im a little afraid of exposing my mother or sister and her husband and 2 kids though. We borrowed my sisters car to see the dentist about a week ago. So we might have exposed them already. My sister is a clean freak so im sure she disinfected her car after we used it. I hope so anyway because she had to bring my two nieces to school the day after.

Idk. I just know if my parents get it I probably won't see them again. My dad is almost 70 and my mom is in her mid 60s with all kinds of health problems. Grandmas hitting 90 and has multiple cancers and still living. She's been holding strong for years thanks to your guy's prayers. So if she got infected idk what would happen to her.

I'm just mainly like "Okay now that im pretty sure im infected i should wear a mask everywhere if I absolutely can't be inside and how my mom who was a nurse for over 40 years is right that masks work"

I continue to pray for you and your family. Its sad that so many people are now on this list today but the good news is some have come off and are cured. Hopefully you will as well. I also pray for your family now i know they too are at risk.

Just an update. I spent all day in the ER because my shortness of breath got really bad. After doing a billion tests on me they found that I have both bronchitis and pneumonia. They did another covid test on me because the doctor highly suspects I have covid. Gee... just when I was excited about the negative result...

Well at the very least I have bronchitis and pneumonia and im quarantined until I get better. I really hope I get negative again...

Got the results back. It's negative. Now my pneumonia is acting up really bad. I'm waiting for my doctor to be able to see me sooner than 3 weeks from now. That's just... sad.

Well they said if it got REALLY bad I could go back to the ER. I just hate going to the ER for no reason.

Me too! I figured I was negative but the doctor who saw me at the ER was pretty sure I had covid as well. You can't deny 2 test results in a row though now. I don't have covid and i have bronchitis and pneumonia.

I'm sure lots of people during this epidemic are developing lung illnesses.

I think of Covid like drawing from a deck of cards. If I get it, I have to pick one.
If it's not a spade, i never know I got it.
If it is a spade, the lower the spade, the less it bothers me and the easier I'll get over it.
If it's a 10 of spades or higher, I may require medical attention, but will probably be fine as long as it's not the Ace.

Good to hear that you are negative...

A "doc in a box" can get you patched up with some drugs since you are negative.

There's lots of allergies going on with oak pollen, mold spores and paper mills this time of year.... probably leading to your issues.

Walgreens or grocery store doctor can get you patched up.

That way you can afford the cost of it all versus the hospital emergency room. Lots of that going around this time of year.

Emergency room visit is like a few thousand...doc in a box is like a couple hundred.

Yeah I was vitamin D deficient a few years back so I have to be put on a supplement now. Doctor doesn't complain about a thing on my blood work anymore. 8ts all good/healthy.
