I forgot the passwords to an Apple account, and my email.

It was my iPad, but I sold it to my mother. It has pictures and footage of loved ones who have now passed away. That iPad is used by lots of family members, and they cherish those pictures. Someone updated the iPad the other night, and now it’s locked. Everyone is hurt by this, and it’s my fault for not transporting those pictures, and writing down the passwords when I changed it a while back. I honestly thought I removed my accounts from there, but Find My IPad must have been on.

I’ve been searching for days. I even stayed up all night trying to figure this out. I’ve been praying about it, but I feel so exhausted. Please pray that I remember the passwords to both the Apple account, and my email.

I, too, forgot my iPhone password. After an update they kept asking me for it. However, as I kept looking and following instructions, there came a point where it said "Skip this step" and I clicked on that and was able to get access again to everything. Keep looking. There is also a way to retrieve your Apple password. Maybe go to an Apple store for advice I pray you get all your info back.

In case you have not already found out, you can change your password easily by looking at a You Tube vid that says something like "How to change an apple i.d. password...." I don't know what kind of Apple you have, but seek and you will find. It's easy.
