  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I lost feelings for my Ex. I don't know if it what God wants me to feel or not. I honestly broke her heart, and it's really a shame of what happened. Lord I just pray that you can all make this better, whether I gain hope and feeling, or we just become friends. We decided not to see/talk to each other until Sunday so I pray that God will guide me and make me happy which ever way we go. Please Pray for me, I have not seen a sign yet from God and I really hope that loosing my feelings isn't a sign, I need a clear sign of what to do. There must be some reason why I am going through this, but if there is one thing that I know for sure... God will get me to where I am supposed to be! Its time for a change in both of us (me and my ex), and we know as long as we are fully with God during this struggle, this will be a change for the better. Sex drove my life, it made me unfruitful and impure. Of course during those situations I felt that I was on top of the world, but I suffered the consequences afterword that made me feel horrible. My ex. had a miscarriage because of our poor thinking and unfaithfulness to God. I am done with failing constantly! I have learned from my mistakes, and now God will heal our wounds and make everything better. Please Pray for us!

Too many people experience heartache from physical relationships, but not feeling heartache is a good thing. Even before I became a cop, I dated quite often and I haven't experienced heartache in ages. Not having feelings for your ex girlfriend is a sign of strength, not weakness. Remember, she's your ex and if you feel something for her now, then you should worry.

God is able to give life to the dead. Rest in Him, and let Him continue to guide you. I believe it's very common not to hear directly all the time. It's a time for abiding on the vine, for resting peacefully in His good sovereignty. It's the place where faith is incubated, and it will yield a harvest of good fruit in its season. I believe your perspective is right-on, Frank, and that God has some very good things in store for you.

What matters now is the lessons learned through the experience...and it does humble a person!

But please..... do NOT blame yourselves for the miscarriage; it is common with first time pregnancies(many women experience them....I did as well).
It is NOT a punishment from God, but just one of those things that happens in life.

Praying for your healing and peace :crossrc:
