  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I started eating 1-2 tablespoons of fish-oil everytime I was hungry like 3-4 times a day, and then vegetables and fruit the rest of the day. When I craved a little meat, I had some lean chicken only. I was hungry at times, but I kept eating vegetables and fruit, then six months later I was 13 kg lighter. I didn`t have any cheat-meals, but I liked mixing Curry with oliveoil and sour-cream and dip chicken-thighs in it, I working out as usual with weights. Added a little picture of me now 13 kg lighter :)

Congratulations getting into shape!

You definitely look thin now and it's not easy getting there and the next phase, maintaining it.

I'm thin myself and I only weigh 51 kg although my diet is different with more animal products than plant products. Mainly sardines or tuna and dairy. Plant products in my diet is rice, bread, corn, oats, sugar, coffee, and beer.

I only eat two meals a day. I found a great way to mitigate hunger between meals. Do a light or short exercise whenever you feel hungry. Get on the treadmill or stationary bike a few few minutes and take one small sip of water (not more water or you'll dilute blood sugar and feel hungry again soon). Hunger is often caused by lower blood sugar levels between meals. When you exercise, the body releases stored glucose from the liver and this raises blood sugar even if you didn't eat anything. With blood sugar levels back to normal, hunger goes away. This way, you're getting rid of hunger cravings and burning calories at the same time! It only doesn't work if you have type 2 diabetes or Growth Hormone deficiency.

I also lift weights and do calisthenics for exercise. For cardio, I do 11 to 14 hrs of inline skating (distance/marathon, and figure skating basics) plus 1 hr of cycling each week.
