My dearest Oblio:

At night, sometimes we do get onshore flows that channel through the mountains into the desert valleys and push away the smog. I love those nights. Most of the time the air is still and hot.

With all the swimming pools people are installing it is getting more humid every year. We have no swimming pool - I cannot take the chlorine and other needed chemicals to keep the pool clean. I get an allergic rash!

The one weekend that I spent in the low desert (Palm desert IIRC), we spent the entire time drinking margaritas and submerged in the pool, it was too hot to do anything else.

BTW if you do a google search under "Antiochian Bishop Arrested" you will see our ChristianForum listed along with "Jeffthefinn". Thank goodness we deleted those 2 offensive posts. THE COUNT KEEPS INCREASING!

I looked up "Jeffthefinn" who is on google. Could google catch me in the process of writing a PM? That would be bad.

I did observe that it caught me in the act of looking at someone's profile - I like to see closeups of the pictures posted there. Maximus has a real neat ancient photo on his profile.

re: Google Crawler and your private profile

Just in case everyone wondered, recently Erwin posted a note saying that your profiles can be blocked from guests and outside interlopers who happen by thanks to information posted on Google. However, you have to check the appropriate box.

Your profiles are not automatically blocked. So please check to make sure it is. Otherwise personal information can be spread all over cyberspace.

Also Erwin said that the Crawler cannot catch your PM's. Thank goodness.
