Thanks for your concern. I appreciate it. Yes, they are actually shouting at me. They even shout my name out loud with a nasty phrase with it. Our neighbor does this most of the time. They are our relatives. Sometimes when her friends come over, they get to feast in mocking me. They are sisters and both of them do these to me. We are their poor relatives. Their family have a good reputation on our community and they have tons of friends. Anyway the older one is starting college this coming school year and the other one is in high school. Both are actually Christians and that they attend the church i am attending at the moment. I just pretend that nothing is happening. They are living with their mother. Anyway they are not the only ones who do this to me. There are also other people that shout things at me. I assume this people are the ones that believe the rumors. Some do this at school. at the moment i cannot sue them because they are actually below 18 years old. I can still hold on knowing there are some people like you that encourages me and prays for me. I wish God completely takes care of the situation before something gets worse.

I find this all very odd, to be honest. Here we are in a time where half my newsfeed on facebook has red equals signs all over it to support gay marriage. It doesn't seem like being gay or "seeming gay" should be that big of a deal anymore or that it would be a "cool" thing to make fun of And the ways you are being bullied sounds more like stuff that would happen in high school or maybe even middle school, not college. Gum on your pants? What the heck. I don't know where you live, but it sounds like the people that live in that area are super classy /sarcasm.

I just don't get it. Where I went to college, people were polite and would let you sit in their seat on the buses, hold open doors, etc.

At first i did not pay much attention to what they do but as time goes by it piles up to weigh me down. I'm a bit depressed and sometimes i have trouble sleeping. Now, i really know the value of peace of mind.

Hey Hopefulman, I love your choice of name! I struggled for many years with low self esteem and being bothered about what other people thought of me. I kept my eyes focused on trying to please God and caring about God's opinion - eventually others opinions became less important, actually I found tremendous freedom in this. But I was never bullied and you actually sound really courageous. And if you feel weak and a push over, do you know what? Jesus actually prefers those who are weak. It says somewhere in the bible that He uses the foolish things of this world to confound the wise! Practically everything in this world is completely opposite to Gods ways. Everything that is despised in this world is actually loved and commended by God. I will pray that God will help you through this time but I will also pray for those nasty bullies - the bible says when we pray for our enemies we pile coal on their heads!! Hang in there Hopefulman, your persistence and endurance through those difficult times are an inspiration to others

i'll be graduating in About a year and a half. that's a bit long but i guess i have no choice. you might wonder that at 23 i'm still in college. I actually stopped going to school for 2 years at some point in the past.

i cant move to an apartment even if i wanted to. that would be too much for my parents. they are having a tough time paying bills and they dont know i'm this way. we do have pets, we've got 3 cats, a dog and a puppy.

apparently my neighbor actually know someone in my present school. so that's it. again and again, same old cycle of events. i plan to graduate this time and continue my studies. but after graduation i plan to work in a more civilized place as i find this place toxic to me. I wish i can work in another country. that would be nice. Some people actually support me in any way they can so i cant let them down. I'm actually happy today since a lot happened these past few days and I was blessed. i have not yet thank you yet for having a conversation with me so i thank you, so much.

thanks. Yes, we are having our summer vacation. But for my year level i should be having my on-job-training this summer. previously i cannot take my OJT since we are financially down but my pastor lend us for my tuition fee this summer. I'm actually excited and looking forward to this.

I'm taking up an engineering course related to electronics and i hope i can pass and get a license. I wish to work in a telephone company or a computer company. I like electronics so much.

I dont mind answering questions. Actually, im having a good time. Are you graduating this year? I hope everything is fine there.

Introducing your girlfriend is a huge step I guess. Perhaps you don't talk much to your family about things? I never did when I lived at home, they were always busy and I was very quiet anyway. But when you gradually open up and talk about different things it helps them get to know you better so when they hear rumours they know that its a lie because they actually know you! If you don't talk to them they really wont know you very well. I am only wondering if this may be a reason for how you feel, but it may not be the case with you.

Sorry to hear about your troubles, you are in my prayers every day. I pray things get better and that the Lord's will be done in your life.
