Thank you very much everyone for your prayers and support
We both appreciate it soo much! God really has been working on us this entire weekend--Letting us know in His word that He will supply our needs. He's been speaking to us telling us that He will not let us go hungry--And our bills will be paid. I have complete trust in the Lord--That He will supply all our needs and completely pay the tab, lol.
God gave Stephen and I some VERY powerful scripture last night. We are looking forward to having it come to pass in our lives
God has also charged me with the task of supporting Stephen and encouraging him whenever Satan tries to remind him of his job loss or "How are we gonna pay the bills?"
I've seen God do miraculous things before and I know He'll do them again.
When the economy hit hard--I watched with sadness as my dad and step-mom lost EVERYTHING. They were big time real estate agents/contractors. They lost their house. They lost their cars. They lost all their assets. Had to declare bankruptcy. But through the thick of it all--The Lord kept them fed, clothed, and even though they lost their house--The Lord blessed them with wonderful friends who took them in until they could get another house of their own. They now have a home, the Lord blessed them with work, multiple cars--God is awesome!!
My mom and step-dad.....My mom hurt her shoulder at work and was on disability. Suddenly my step-dad lost his job. How in the world were we gonna survive with 4 kids, car payments, rent, utilities, groceries, etc--With $400.00 a month??? But ya know what God did it. He never let my parent's house payment go late. He always kept every single utility paid on time. Us kids NEVER went hungry. I don't ever remember a time where we went without. We had clothes on our back. A roof over our head--It was awesome
Finally my step-dad got an awesome job in a supervisory position at a hospital giving us free medical insurance, lol. And then my mom got better and landed a job with a company that designs mobile command centers for the CIA and Police Departments
What do I remember through this? My parents still tithed. They still praised the Lord through their circumstances. They still loved Him and worshiped Him
Stephen never saw what I saw or lived it like I have with his family. I KNOW God is gonna take care of us. I have unconditional and complete faith in the Lord
He's taken care of me before--So now that I'm married why would it be any different?

I guess, if some people just dont like you... they might never will...
I've experienced this quite alot of times (in my close enviroment). It pretty much all comes from a bad day... or a bad week... or a bad "everything"...
imagine... someone (your supervisor) going through a hard time at home... having arguments with their husband, children arent performing well at school, she just discovered the oldest one is doing drugs, perhaps she has her period as well? It could all be alot of reasons, just flowing together and causing something like this. so, then she just goes to work, verry irritated, angry and worried. and what does she first she? it could be something very minor, which she would normally never make a problem out. For example, you just parked your car a bit over the line. so she gets furious and releases all this ANGER, goes to her boss and starts telling him everything she (suddenly) remembers you ever did wrong... this could be just some minor flaws, which you corrected, this could be something bad you said... but at that moment, she just doesnt care.
so her supervisor gets you fired, and perhaps (probably) she is feeling really bad about it now...
im not sure there's any way you can contact her (privately) and discuss this matter with her... you never know what will happen.
and man, please, dont put your future in God's hands... dont just agree that this all is "God's will and his plan"... DONT... really, try making something out of it with your wife... im not telling you to give up what you believe but... this isnt the time to put your faith into God.

Anyway, I read your post and I just wanna say thank you for your concern. Honestly it takes a lot of guts being an athiest coming into an entirely Christian Forum pretty much, lol--And posting with good intentions.
I understand what you are saying about just trusting ourselves--Correct?
But to be honest--Right now more then ever is it a time to trust in the Lord. Like I said earlier--I know the Lord will keep His hand over us and I know He will bless us.
But I get what you're saying--Go out and do something. Make something happen, lol.

We both aren't just gonna sit around and be like "Okay cool--I don't have a job so I can just stay home all day and wait on the Lord to give me my job!!"

God can't help you get a job unless you're out there putting out applications! lol--Comon now. So yes we are doing our part to make something happen so that God can use it to make something happen for us
Again Thomas thank you for your help. You're very sweet and I liked how you responded to my other brothers and sisters in Christ. You could have gotten upset--And they too. A HUGE flame war could have erupted but it did not due to maturity. I like seeing that
