I Just Don't Seem To Understand "God"?

I really don't know if there is a god, or what is right or wrong. I just though hope if there is a "god' or higher being I pray for a better understanding of his will, or in what way he'd want me to serve him. I would really like to know what's right or wrong, and what he wants. I'm just so unsure, lost, sad, lonely, and I need help. I'm uncertain about everything and it's just really hard for me to believe. Thanks for your support!

well since you pray then yep there is a god, my daddy always told me that sometimes you arent supposed to know everything, and we will all have answers one good day, i guess thats where faith comes in. i dont know a whole lot but god tells me what to say i guess, ill pray for your understanding

I will pray for you. Also, there is some very good literature by Lee Strobel. He was an atheist who wanted to prove Christianity wrong, so he studied everything he could on the topic. After looking long and hard at the evidence, he became convinced that Christianity was true and that there is a God.

Atheist16, I thought you didn't believe in God? God helps us to think truthfully with wisdom, knowledge, and understanding that comes from the Holy Spirit that surpasses all understanding of humans.

GuitarHero2, God's will is for you to enjoy a personal relationship with Him in which you will desire and do good to all as He teaches in His Word. He makes this possible through receiving His Son Jesus Christ into your heart. Unless you receive God's invitation to receive Jesus Christ into your heart, you will not be able to live according to His will. Do you want to know Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior?

Where you are at is ok, it was the hardest thing i found when i made the choice to seek god...i had no idea if he was really there, but my heart wanted so much to belive that i pushed on...i went to church, i read my bible and i prayed every night for god to really move in my heart. One day he did, id had the worse day and i was a wreck...all i could think to do was pray....i was driving my car at the time and had just pulled into my driveway when i felt the warmest blanket come over me....i knew in that moment god was hugging me, you could just feel this incredible energy all around..and i was crying by now....all i could say was "oh, so you really are there" I know it can be hard to belive in someone when you've yet to meet with them....but god really needs us to put all our faith and trust in him...keep seeking him...read you bible...keep praying...no matter where u are....if you want to talk to god then just start talking....keep seeking him with all your heart...god is there. he has never left you and he has never stopped loving you - there is so much to learn about him and his ways....and at times its like ur getting no where...but have faith! and keeping going on...it's so incredibly worth it

Others have suggested reading, and I know that doesn't give you a quick answer, but it's like anything else-- if you want to find out more, think of different avenues where you can get your information.

Most logically, the Bible... as primary source material. And listening to experiences of others. And prayer! (duh.) But don't worry about getting everything pinned down and right immediately. God will bring people and concepts across your path gradually if you ask Him to.

Lord, You know the questions GuitarHero has, and the gaps in logic or faith that makes him feel uneasy. Answer his request to know more of You... please answer his prayers to grasp Your essence.

Fill him with Your Spirit and show GuitarHero how good You really can be to us. Thank you for being so accessible.
