One of the things we did in our singles group was to go on "practice dates" with each other this way when the real thing camealong it wasn't too bad.. I know this sort of thing won't fly at most churches but I think the princapla is sound... (what are we doing till marriage anyway right?)
but like i was saying go and "practice" interacting with FEMALE friends and relitives "remember the practice part" Ask them to grade you and to be critical of what your doing, to help you to throw up as few "red flags" as possiable. when it's time for the "Big" date.
and when your ready try with strangers, sign up for for a good christian dating site and go out on the town, meet people, go to dinner, or walks anything where you can pratice talking and being sociable... So long as your up front about what your doing no harm no foul. Remember you don't have to love like or even enjoy there company... you're helping yourself out of your own hole. Just make sure you tell whom ever your with what's going on. (baby steps)

I don't hardly think about her like I use to. and I don't feel the same whenever I see her out, like tonite she was at the 4th of july parade, and we just look at eachother and spoke. and that was about it.
