  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I really do. I hate myself because of the sin I constantly indulge into knowingly against God. I hate myself for the way I treat my family and friends. I hate myself because of my illness. I hate myself because I can't do the one thing I love to do because of the physical pain. I wish God would have never created me.

Hello brother. Welcome here. Am sorry about your illness. I pray that the very things that bog you down will become your strengths. Know that God loves you no matter what you do. When you feel convicted about it, take it to God. Change is slow but does come if you commit to it. Do take your anger against your self to God, He is the only one who can accept you unconditionally no matter what. I wish you the very best. God be with you as you learn His ways.

I'm sorry you're feeling this way. When I'm feeling down, I try to focus on the positives in my life that I can easily overlook. Sometimes those positives may only be small things, but it may be just enough to hold on to so you can get through this. I'm reminded of a saying I always heard growing up 'God doesn't make mistakes'. He made you for a reason, even though you may not fully understand it all at this point in your life. Our walk with the Lord is a long one and we're constantly learning and growing. I say this to encourage you that there's still alot of wonderful things ahead of you. Don't loose hope. Praying!

Hello and welcome to CF. I am sorry that you have so much hate and pain. Please know that God loves you and will never give up on you. It must be hard to have physical pain while trying to treat people nicely. I will pray with you.

Father, in Jesus name I pray that you bless our brother with a renewed, right Spirit of hope and faith. Bless him with healing and wisdom to repent, for his sins and to forgive himself too. Guide and bless him according to your will, Amen!
