I agree and would love to see that. However as with abortion its simply not in their interests to make effective legislation as then they can no longer get any milage out of the issue.They need to pass a law that says ALL employers MUST use e-verify.

Being that visa overstays are people who are entering legally, but just failing to go back on the agreed upon date...not sure what building the wall is going to do (is he trying to keep them in????)

It is the 'desperate' (read 'losers') that sneak in. One must have a needed skill to get a work visa. They also go through a background check. None of this applies to border crashers.
