So I got us tickets to the Lions v West Coast game at the Gabba!



Right behind the goal posts too!

I was ALWAYS a league girl - always - watch out for SofO nights... ruthless...

Anyway, my stepsister is a melbourne chick, as is her dad, so got caught watching it through them... then, seeing we kept winning (poor little whiney magpies... he he he), I thought it best to open my horizons up and start understanding more of this game.

Anyway - if it's calling itself football, it should be something that uses a foot to the ball, more than a hand, so yeah - AFL is more footy than League/Union, as Soccer is more football than AFL...

*goes hides in a corner whilst the barrage starts...

I don't care I have GREAT tickets!!!

This is my first in-season game EVER! I went to a Broncos/??? pre-season at the Dolphins Grounds in Redcliffe once, but it was tiny, being pre-season warm up kinda game...

This will be HUGE!

ive been to see brisbane vs north melbourne before (brisbane won ofcouse) it was afew years back when wayne carey was still with the roos. he was 20m directly infront of the goals and he hits the post!!! hahaha it was hilarious!
