Just nonsense really
The real reason why people choose not to believe in God is that they want to be their own gods to be able to live their lives their own way without having to be accountable to anyone else. They want to be free to indulge their own lusts when and where they want without anyone else coming along and saying they are right or wrong.

To believe in a real living God means that they have to be accountable for the way they live their lives, and they don't want that, so they choose not to believe in Him.

All other reasons and arguments that are presented for not believing in God are just smoke and mirrors to hide the real reason.

Yes but I have to die before life gets good then or what?
Why not avoid consequentialism?

Instead of trying to pick a worldview based on which view yields the best consequences to your current wish list, why not examine the world to discover what is the best explanation of the world you live in?

If atheism is true live as though there is no objective meaning or morality.

If Buddhism is true, then live as if there is no real evil or even real world.

Look at how the various inferences explain the origin of the u inverse, the fine-tuning of that universe for life, how do we get biological life from no life, or whole libraries full of information from a universe that has no agents?

How do you get meaning in life?

How do you live morally?

Where do you go when you die?

Don't reject one view (especially the strawman Christianity you represented in the OP) because you don't know it.

Take your time and investigate how the various religious views answer the religious questions above?

Which view has the most explanatory power based on the evidence you have?

Last I heard Christianity did not present their god as being a d'jinn. He has no obligation to deliver you what you want. Come to think of it I can't think of a single religion that has such a god.

Congratulations. You have 'proved' a god that no one claims to exist is not real!

And I was hoping for at least an interesting claim.

There`s no reward for anything in life
Is there any reward in life for those who do not believe?

No. There are no rewards in this life unless you consider love, friendship, peace.

I personally think they are rewarding things to have.

There is a god that exists...you! You are your own god, and therefore have made yourself the arbiter of your own life to determine what is right or wrong for you. Whether you can give yourself eternal life after death, of course, remains to be seen!

You missed my point. The person who says that God doesn't exist says it because he doesn't want any other god to exist except himself.

I understand, but we live in horrible times when it comes to kindness and warmness and god never really walked the earth in these times, so I kinda feel better than him

Yes, now I`m 34 years and I have been doing good all of my life towards others but there`s no reward anyways, no real friends, no girls ... yeah, the whole paradise thing, it happens when you die after a long and boring life? Well, I don`t buy it after all

Hi Principium,
No offense, I have heard some decent arguments against God's existence, but I'm struggling to understand your argument.

If we were both being fair, we could say your proof is subjective. It's based on your definitions, terms and time scales etc. That's fine, but it's hardly conclusive.

May I ask that if I could prove that God exists, would you want to know? Or, if I could prove the God of the Bible exists, would you change your ways?
