Hello. When I was much younger I made jokes about selling my soul to be the best guitar player in the world. God has forgiven me I am sure of it and I do not even think its possible to sell a soul for anything anyways. But now I feel like I do not deserve to play anymore and I feel guilty whenever I play. I definitely always played for myself but now even though I play for god music written by Christians for Christians example im learning jesus/jesu joy of man's desiring it was written by Bach a Christian for lent. Im not sure if im just overthinking this or if god actually does not want me to play anymore.

You call on the name of the Lord to be saved. Then you soul belongs to Him. The devil has no say.
And yes, the Lord wants you to play your instrument. Do not let the devil steal that from you.

You got it. People do silly things out of ignorance. I suspect the Lord just shakes His head and laughs at how silly we can be. I suspect I have supplied Him with much humor during my life.

Did you know Christ died for guilt also? Look into it some time OT. Guilt is not from God. Yes I agree you can't sell your soul... takes more then just words. Then impossible when it belongs to GOD! So there is no guilt no fear no worry. He does not condemn you. Those feelings if you asked me are not from God. So... play away.

See we all goof up time to time say things do things.. but its not about ONE MOMENT in time. So we repent.. we get up we dust off and keep going So keep playing.. GUILT is not from God

God is a master musician .... play for Him ... and also perhaps start writing your own music compositions to His glory. You were given a gift ... of course you should use it.

Ive been thinking about it and I think I figured it out. Its not that god does not want me to play. I just think I am not supposed to spend all my musical time on guitar. I think god wants me to focus on my voice and singing in choirs. Thank you for your guidance everyone.

This thought came to me while relaxing listening to this song please have a listen. These choirs are so relaxing I fall asleep listening.I have been praying for god to guide me and give me answers and I think this is it.

beloved one, so consider what you have done, what you are doing, and will be doing—will it bear the fruit of the Spirit, that is in all goodness, righteousness and truth?
