I have a great "Movie trailer music" composer friend, who released an album on iTunes and it rose up fast on the best selling charts in the category of... Yep, you guessed it - Classical Music. It's just where they decide to throw such pure epic beauty for the time being... I'm sure when it becomes more familiarized and popular it will be more recognized as its own music. Time will tell. It's getting up there in popularity...

I love Ennio Morricone's music. My vocal coach calls him the God of music. I "sang" a vocalise to "Jill's Theme" once when my teacher was working me up to a C6. Very emotional music.

Our symphony orchestra played parts of the Gladiator soundtrack at our last concert. The theme was a history of music, and our last two pieces were the Gladiator one, and the music from Halo...which is also quite fun to play.
