I have a great "Movie trailer music" composer friend, who released an album on iTunes and it rose up fast on the best selling charts in the category of... Yep, you guessed it - Classical Music. It's just where they decide to throw such pure epic beauty for the time being... I'm sure when it becomes more familiarized and popular it will be more recognized as its own music. Time will tell. It's getting up there in popularity...

Here's another of my favorites. Ennio Morricone's theme to Cinema Paradiso. Beautifully played by Itzhak Perlman. The music really captures a feeling of nostalgic yearning, and sweet sadness. Very moving piece of film music.

I love Ennio Morricone's music. My vocal coach calls him the God of music. I "sang" a vocalise to "Jill's Theme" once when my teacher was working me up to a C6. Very emotional music. :D
