But not because I’m weak

Not because I’m fragile

Not because I’m empty



I cry

But that doesn’t mean I’m in pain

Doesn’t mean I’m dying

Doesn’t mean I will not smile again



I cry because I care

Because I’m willing to be broken

I don’t care what others think

Don’t care what they may say

‘Cause these tears are beautiful

and I hadn't thought of that at all when I wrote this
