I am soooo frustrated. I can't do this anymore, but I can't get help.Idon'tknow what to do though. No one knows about my being bulimic and I can't tell them either. Grrr. I know that I need to tell them, but I just can't. I am soo sorry I know this is not going to be of encouragement to anymore, but I really just needed to let others know what was going on even if you don't know me.

Could you see a counselor? I know that is a scary thought for you, but it might help. and no one would have to know.

There are drop-in counseling clinics availiable depending on where you live, so you could go try one sometime to see if it works for you. It sounds like you want to recover, and seeing a counselor may help.

Am I allowed to ask why you can't tell them?

I don't feel as though I can tell anyone because it will ruin my mom's image of a "perfect" child. Also, it is semi-easy to admit that I have a problem to people I don't know but not so easy to admit it to an actual person. I know none of this makes sense...maybe it does...I don't know. I want help, but I don't know if I am ready. I just keep doing what I am doing in hopes that one day I will get the strength to do something. I feel sooooo trapped in this situation and no on seems to understand.

None of us are perfect Freedomsong and we all have struggles, every one of us. I'm sure your health and well being is more important to your mom than any image you think she might have about you. I think you should talk with someone, it sounds like you're really wanting help. Prayers for you!
