• The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.

If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.

If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. May you be blessed today and each day.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I can't cry anymore, but the pain inside me is so much, its unbearable, people often don't take me seriously. My heart feels so heavy at times, i feel crippled with emotional pain but even with this no tears come out, its as if the pain is struck inside me and there are no tears to relieve it. On top of this i suffer OCD and at times it literally feels like torture, these two things working together.

Get some help little sis,

Get appointments with a counsellor/Paster and talk to your doctor. Try not to take this on alone.

i agree. Sometimes that is the best thing. These people are there to help you pull through tough times and get you in the right direction.

A pastor helped me get back in the right direction, after 4 years of struggle. Now I haven't been happier.

I will be praying for you :crossrc:

's for you Softee. Please, if you can, allow yourself some time to relax and recuperate. I completely understand how awful you feel, and how impossible it seems to get out of it. You've received some good suggestions about talking with someone trustworthy, because it can help.

Do you have support from anyone?

Thankz for your support people. I don't really have anyone to talk to about my situation. I have promised that i will see a doctor but i just keep on forgetting, but in honesty, don't mean to be picky but i will really prefer a Christian that could councel and help me. I mean i should really go to christian youth groups but i don't wanna go alone, its just like a big cycle!

I don't think you're being picky; you're being wise. A Christian counselor would probably be much better as they will have insight into the spiritual side of things as well.

Do you have any friends or acquaintances that you could go to youth group with?

Seek a christian one, nothing wrong with that. If one is hard to find, take the best of non christian counsellors. Something is better than nothing, until you can find right person.

Also confine with your paster if you trust him.
