I love the song, the band is cool, but i'm just tired of it being played EVERYWHERE. I guess i just don't like songs to be played too much. ~shrug~

The bassist and I are pretty good friends, we grew up together. They didn't expect the song to take off like it did, especially going mainstream and all. Apparently there was a teenager that called up a radio station in Dallas (secular) and asked them to play it. Of course they said that they didn't carry it, but the kid would call back every day and request to have it played. Finally the DJ just went out and bought a copy and played it and it got a HUGE response. So now it's just all over the place. MercyMe's thankfull for the lives that it has touched, but they're still at awe that it's gone as far as it has.

Wow, I really sense that God is really working in so many peoples hearts with this song. I know that it has changed my life because I was going down a road where I started to totally doubt the existance of God completly and after hearing this song on the radio and hearing it play at the movie theater and seeing the reaction of the people around me as they all stopped talking and turned around to see the video on the screen. I don't think I've ever felt the presence of God like I did that day in the movie theater. I really feel that God is moving and that this is the time to stand in his presence.

I've only heard the song a few times, and at the risk of being unpopular here, I'm going to have to say I don't care much for it. It's is a pretty song. But I don't think it's very worshipful. It wasn't until they sang the name Jesus that I realized that this was a worship song. I thought it was a love ballad the guy was singing to his wife or girlfriend. I don't believe that songs that ambiguous are pleasing to God.

Please don't get offended by this post. It's just my opinion.

i love that song. we used it in our heaven scene at our judgement house production (its like hell stop) and a good friend of mine sang it at my grandpas funeral in october..everyone loved it

i can kinda see what you mean - i absoultly love the song but i agree it definatly isnt a wohship song - more a song of reflection - or a very personal worship.

I agree ,its becoming a very popular secluar songs as well as many mainstream stations have been playing it recently...making me think most people think that most of us automaticly just goto Heaven! (of course good people don't goto Heaven..saved ones do!)

They play it in the US....there are many Christian radio stations here in the US.....I can't say that I've heard it recently, but then again I don't listen to the radio that often.....

you can listen to christian music on the internet on klove.com or air1.com, they are both cool websites and play mercyme, audio adrenaline, micheal w. smith, relient k, rebecca st. james, and so many others, i know you can also listen to k-love and air1 on the radio in some states in US.

Ya when i first heard this song i cried to because it just makes you think what is going to happen when you pass and you have to stand in front of god to determine whether or not you will go to hevean or hell. after i had heard the song i sat there in my room and i started to think "will i go to hevean" this is the best song

An awesome song, I must say... Great band. Was surprised to hear it on radio but am so glad, in fact overjoyed when they climbed the chart... God is working something, shouldn't we??? God bless you all..
