I became a Christian tonight

Dear October Redmond. May I welcome you into the Family of God.You will find that you are a new person, a loving and caring follower of Christ. Jesus told us in Matthew, " The first and great Commandment is: Love God with all thy heart, with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. The second is like it: Love thy neighbour as thyself." On these two Commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets. God wants loving and caring children/sons and daughters, and a good way to show God that we love Him is: " treat all we know and all we meet as we would love to be treated:" with kindness and friendly words and smiles, always ready to help and forgive, rather than angry words, or ignoring people altogether. God made us all and God loves us all, God wants us back again, and Jesus paid the Prize to God`s Holy Law: we are reconciled to God. The Bible tells us: " Repent," be born again, and stop being selfish and unloving, to become loving selflessly, and letting the world see, whom we belong to.
Jesus will give us His Love and Joy, and the Holy Spirit will give us His Love, also. Jesus told us to " ask and ye will receive," then we thank God and share all Love and Joy, (ours included) with all around us. People will notice and they will treat us the same. Love is a Christian`s weapon, and Love is very catching. We will stumble and at times fail, but we will ask God to forgive us, and God will forgive, as we will forgive others.
