I am reaching out to ask for your prayers as I try to rebuild my life after a very difficult year. I have faced the pain of broken relationships, financial hardship, and even a time of homelessness.

At the moment, I have no income, though I do receive food stamps, and I am grateful to have stable housing through a subsidized apartment. I am waiting to hear back about SSI benefits I reapplied for, but I am uncertain whether I should focus on that or try to reenter the workforce, which is difficult in my small town without a car.

I am also in a committed relationship that means a great deal to me. Although we have been through many trials and challenges, I have never met someone who understands me and loves me the way he does. I feel very strongly about building a life with him, even though the road has not been easy.

Since going through all of this, I have often felt lost, confused, and at times hopeless about the future, as if the obstacles before me are insurmountable. Yet, I am doing my best to remain faithful and to follow God’s will.

Please pray for me—for strength, healing, mental health, and clarity. Please also pray that the resources I need may become available, whether through a person to guide me, a loan, or some other form of help, so that I can begin rebuilding my life with hope.

Thank you for your prayers. You will be in mine as well.

Praying for God’s provision for you and His peace and discernment along the way.

BTW, nice to see you again!

Thank you Michie! I was away for a while because my computer stopped working a couple of months ago and then randomly started working again yesterday. I have no idea what caused the problem, but I'm grateful it's working again. It is too difficult to use Christian Forums on a smartphone for me, so when my computer started to work again, I decided I wanted to check in with everyone and ask for prayers!

Thank you everyone for your prayers. I greatly appreciate them! I am still feeling depressed, but I feel better today than yesterday because I did get to see my boyfriend. He shares my Catholic faith.

He took me to Urgent Care today too because I have a severe Upper Respiratory Infection going on. They gave me a steroid shot and an antibiotic to prevent it from becoming a secondary infection because I almost always get a secondary infection after dealing with a viral Upper Respiratory Infection. Plus, I do have Type 2 Diabetes and that weakens my immune system somewhat, even though it's under control.

Don't give up, persevere in praying.
You will receive heavenly help if you persevere in praying (especially the Rosary).

Thank you for your prayers, everyone! Unfortunately, I have experienced a setback. I had given my mom my utility check, electric bill, and ID because she handles all of my bills for me. Well, unfortunately, she lost all three items. I told my landlord because my electric bill is already past due, and she told me to contact the township's trustee so that's what I did. Unfortunately, they weren't open, but I did leave a message, so hopefully I will hear back from them soon. I'm afraid they might not be able to help me without my ID. My apartment complex will reissue me a new check if the old one hasn't been cashed, but if someone somehow cashed it, I won't be able to get that money back. It'll take a few weeks to get the new check if they can reissue it. I am so worried that my electricity will get shut off. If it gets shut off, I will be evicted and will be homeless again. PLEASE pray for me!
