Fasting helps me out a lot. One thing that really helps with the hunger pain during fasts is black seed oil. Its been shown to work for people in various studies. Just take a tablespoon or two of it in the morning. I'm not saying the oil will help you lose weight. But it will at least line your stomach slightly and ease some of the hunger.
Also, while fasting, try not to drink a lot of water. One of the triggers of hunger is not only an empty stomach (obviously) but also when the stomach lining is squeaky clean. Lots of water flushing through your stomach can do that. In fact, if you want to test that, for the last 1 hour before bed, try and drink a gallon of water. Force yourself to drink it if you can. I guarantee you at 4am not only will you really have to pee really badly, but you will be so hungry you'll be curled up on the ground. You will be in physical pain, and will get to experience what those starving people in poor countries get to experience every day. And that's simply because that water has flushed your stomach empty.
