  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

You got the feeling they're literally careful not to give too much of the Gospel?

Hmm... no, I don't think any single video would be enough to lead someone to Christ. But, it'd be enough to whet his appetite so he'd watch more of them, until he'd been given the full picture. That's why we have Bible Study, no? So we can receive knowledge from a variety of people? One person's testimony can only ever be a tiny part of the puzzle - just like all of us are 1 link in a chain. We need the other links to form the whole.

Heh, I read your post and went looking for others: Alan Titchmarsh is a Christian now... as is Rik Wakeman, David Suchet and Freddie Highmore...

I wondered about Bear Grylls a while back, because he's on the blurb of The Shack :( Wasn't sure what to make of that, really. But he's quoted as saying his faith is the backbone of his life, so as professing his faith goes, that's fairly professy

wow...Rick Wakeman as in the band YES Rick Wakeman?
