It isn't us who does the converting, that is God's job.

I suggest that you seek out God by reading the Bible (particularly the Gospels) and meditating (thinking about) God's redemptive plan of salvation. Form for yourself an opinion about who Jesus was - was He just a lunitic, a liar, or was He Lord?

If one can be reasoned into the Kingdom of God, then one can also be reasoned out...

It sounds like you may be an intellectual skeptic when it comes to Christianity. I was that way for many years. I would have become a believer if only it could be proven to me. All of the apologetics seemed weak. No one in the world really could have proven to me that Jesus was truly the son of God.

The Lord Himself is who convinced me of His existence. But first, I had to be receptive to the idea that God was at work around me. I had to take down my skepticism just enough so I could begin to see the effect that God was having in the lives of the believers around me.

You see Jesus said several times, "He who has ears, let him hear." Jesus usually only reveals Himself to those that are seeking to know about Him, not necessarily those who are looking for proof of His existence.

If you are looking for proof as a building block for your belief in God you probably won't find it. If you are looking to God as building block for your belief in Him, He will probably furnish you proof!

I understand thet first part of your question, but the second part lost me a little. I assume that when you say "you", that you are referring to God. What kind of evidence, then, would convince you that Jesus really is God incarnate flesh and that He really did die on a cross? What evidence are you looking for? Are you looking for historical evidence, Biblical and logical evidence, or something altogether different?

Spirituality is about you, what's going inside you and how you relate to the world. It's not about us. In Christianity, it pivots around how you relate to God.

It's not about winning you over, but caring that you find what you need. Most religions approach spirituality similarly -- they are very internal, personal ways to approach life. If our God truly is the largest force in this universe, then playing religious tag doesn't benefit any of us.
