"What... judgement on people who do what hey want and smoke weed? That's poor judgement."
I didn't say anything about people smoking weed. I think doing so is stupid, really stupid, but if some fool wants to destroy his brain smoking pot, well, that's his right. I just hope such a person doesn't get behind the wheel of a car and kill somebody or end up a giggling idiot in institutionalized care.
Why
shouldn't we judge the behaviour of others (and ourselves) as morally right or wrong? You talk of poor judgment but in doing so are judging, too. But this is an unavoidable part of being a thinking and moral person.
"He may be right, but some people are their own person."
No one living in God's universe is truly "their own person." Every person who exists, or who has ever existed, depends at every moment on God for their existence. I don't see, then, how anyone can claim to be "their own person."
"Many are, and to "dictate" how you ought to live is criminal."
But this is exactly what you're doing here! You are dictating how others ought to think and asserting that if others don't agree with you, they are "criminal."
"To live how you want is better,"
Better than what? You realize that when you use words like "better," you are making a judgment about the quality of something. How do you know what "better" is? What fixed point of reference do you use to determine what is better or worse? We only know a crooked line by comparison to a straight one. Without such a standard, it is impossible to say that something is better or worse. All you can say, if you don't use a fixed and objective standard (ie. a straight line) by which to judge a thing as better or worse, is that you prefer one thing over another.
"it's just some people, Christian or not, need God, and he should help his sons, devil or not, regardless. He should be a strong God and father."
Why should God behave as you think He should? Who made you God over God?
Damning people and pagans... killing them... judging them... because they are who they are, young and cool, over judging them and OVER punishing them, even if they like or believe in God. Games, weed, whatever. It's not right, that is criminal.
God kills us all. None of us is getting off this planet alive. But God has the right as the Giver of all life also to be its Taker.
God also sets the rules for His universe and all that is within it. That's His right as God. And He says that sin deserves judgment and punishment, that the result of sin is always ultimately death. He can say this because He's God and has made and sustains all of reality all the time.
On what basis do you decide what is "criminal." Are you just talking about your
opinion? If so, I can only point out that we all have opinions. What makes your opinion any better than the opinion of the person who disagrees with you? Why should we care about your opinion?
