If not, then go to our Orthodox Prayer thread and look up the Jordanville Prayerbook which Oblio posted. The prayers of the paracleisis or akathist are extremely powerful. Try the Akathist to the Sweetest Name of Jesus.
Your husband might think that the Orthodox Church is a cult. I hope you can speak to your priest tomorrow.
Pray also to St. Xenia of St. Petersburg. Her husband died in an alcoholic brawl and she prayed and fasted for him, sleeping at his gravesite in his old military uniforms. God granted her a vision in which she saw her husband's soul leaving hell.
