Hello.
Dear friends who have been speaking with me since October here. I just wanted to say that I appreciate you so much. I’ve discovered a lot, and have so much food for thought. I’m sorry of I come across as arrogant or hard-headed or with an agenda. No. I’m searching. I have many many questions. I’ve changed my mind on some subjects or realized how little I knew about Christianity. Thank you for opening my eyes. At times I may sound stubborn or closed-minded, but I’m always listening. Sometimes I want to dig and consider something or to understand and analyze, that’s why I persist. If I still have a question, I’ll keep on researching… Thank you for your insight and your care and love ❤️ I can sense it at this side of the screen as if you’re talking next to me.

God bless you.

You have been a bright spot on these forums for the past few months. I appreciate the way you make me think about things that we often take for granted. Keep wondering and questioning; it is the best path to wisdom.

Augustine said: “The soul has all knowledge within, and all we can do from without is but an awakening of knowledge.”

Meister Eckhart said, probably borrowing from Plato: "It is only by the senses that the soul is roused and the idea of wisdom naturally imprinted in her."

Seneca said: “You ask what the finest life span would be? To live until you reach wisdom."

I don't expect to ever achieve ultimate wisdom, at least not while I'm alive. But keep searching, asking and studying. You may find some questions unanswerable, some knowledge beyond our ability to comprehend, and the level of wisdom you seek to be unachievable. But don't let that stop you. You are already closer than most.

God bless you.
I find you delightful. . .but I think you probably know all you need to know for now.

You might consider shelving the whole thing and getting on with life.

God will meet you when he is ready to do so.

It only took 15 years for me.
