May I ask what happened, and why it made you stop believe?
A few personal things, I don't really want to discuss on an open forum.

P.S Don't confuse humans with God, only He is perfect.

If he exisited and was so perfect he wouldn't allow these things to happen.

Buttermilk,

I'm sorry you're hurting. It is challenging to hold on to hope when faced with things and situations and emotions that feel overwhelming, but the hope we have is in Christ, not in us.

I hope you will find the peace you seek... I hope you will not hold whatever has occurred so tight that you lose yourself in it. Consider giving yourself some time to not be so close to it - right now it sounds like it feels very raw and painful.

I know when I feel like that, I just want to hurt someone, anyone, even if it's me. It requires a lot of calming of my thoughts and emotions to think straight again.

Hang in there... if you want.

Kristen

Hebrews 12

4In your struggle against sin, you have not yet resisted to the point of shedding your blood. 5And you have forgotten that word of encouragement that addresses you as sons:
"My son, do not make light of the Lord's discipline,
and do not lose heart when he rebukes you,
6because the Lord disciplines those he loves,
and he punishes everyone he accepts as a son."

7Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as sons. For what son is not disciplined by his father? 8If you are not disciplined (and everyone undergoes discipline), then you are illegitimate children and not true sons.

Hebrews 12

11No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.

Revelation 3

19Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest, and repent.

Romans 5
3Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; 4perseverance, character; and character, hope.

Hmm discipline eh - I have done nothing wrong to be disciplined for.

Rejoice in suffering - no thanks

Well, I don't know if you have, but I was trying to make one realize that life is still hard and we will still have trouble and suffering in this world, even after accepting Jesus Christ as our savior.

What was your relationship like with Jesus before these (lets call them christians for now) came along and made you doubt your faith?

I guess I'm looking to help by getting some details as to what your relationship was like.

Did you pray? Did he speak back to you? Did you KNOW Him? ect. ect.
Is that so you can turn round and say I wasn't really a Christian anyway. No odds to me, it makes no difference to me now anyway, what you think I was or wasn't.

No, I was trying to help with your own private reflection on the matter. There was no selfish reason involved. I do care about you, and your relationship with your creator, that's all. If you do not wish to speak about it, then I'll go somewhere else to respect your wishes.

This is something you need to work out between you and God.
