Being in South Florida I have been in a state of high anxiety watching Ike approach all week, only to turn south. Its whereabouts after it heads out into the Gulf is anybody's guess. My thoughts, best wishes and hopes go to all friends in the gulf coast states who must now watch the progress of this dangerous storm.
