my family lives near Swansea. my grandfather was born in Wales and he was the only one of 21 siblings (some half, some step, some full sibs!) who came to Canada. so the rest of the extended family is still there! I visited Wales about 11 years ago, the only time I've been there. it was a wonderful trip, and I got to meet many relatives I'd never met before.

Where were you from in Wales rask? Sunshine, Swansea is about 60 miles from me I think, we are both in the South. I live in a small mining town right on top of a mountain, the nearest big place is Newport. LOL I am glad you added on about the step-siblings and half-siblings ...21 siblings!!! wow! Glad you liked our lovely land..I have never been to canada, you never know though , may get there one day.

Where were you from in Wales rask?

Sunny (haha) Aberdare, in the Cynon valley. I've still quite a few relatives scattered around that area and in Mountain Ash, and so I keep hoping that someday I shall be able to return to live there... though it's not looking likely at the minute! I have to conclude that God wants me in England for the time being!
