anyone seen it? i haven't seen the whole 60 something series (and apparently it isn't finished), but i've seen enough to say this is a really good anime. It isn't absolutely serious, although the context should be quite serious. The characters are likable and the events that drive the plot are quite entertaining and mysterious. Leaves you hanging if you don't get to the bottom of it. The one thing that makes me smile everytime is when Gon uses his very unique 'weapon'..

i think this is one of those long series that involves a lot of character development in the later episodes. I'm only up to 20 something. The pace at the beginning few episodes seems a bit slow, but it gets better. And it's good that although this is clearly also an action anime, it's not just about fighting, but about using your brain and inner strength.
