Hugging

After reading some of the responses on a couple of threads I was wondering if I am the oly girl who doesn't like hugging everyone. So please take the poll.

You might be suprised to know that I actually chose "I am female and I only hug close friends and family. "

I hug close friends and family. There are plenty of exceptions, and I give different kinds of affection to different people.

I hug my family and very rarely a close friend, if I haven't seen them in a while or they go for the hug first then I will but I don't normally initiate it. I'm leaning more towards I would only hug my significant other, plus my family.

My church is very huggie. There is a lady there we call the hug lady and no one can get by her. I use to try. Now, I just deal with it.

My pastor is a big hugger to, he just hugs you from the side if your a woman so that you aren't touching in a way you shouldn't.

i hug my family..and very close friends...last time i hugged anyone else was when I attended this meeting for christian men after praying alot about how we look at women in today's society cause alot of the men felt guilty and convicted.

Somehow that doesn't surprise me in the least!

I love to hug, but only friends and family, not just anybody! You gotta be special to me in some way to get a hug!

I love to hug, but the people I hug are usually a friend or family member. There are times that I've hugged other artists that I didn't really know well but even then I feel like I know them from their art.

Hugging is good, but it's all about context for me. I generally hug people (family and friends) when they've returned from a journey, or when I haven't seen them in a long time.

I typically only hug close friends and family - but my church back home was my church family, so I did a lot of hugging there, too!

I vote only SO, however I fall between that and "close friends and family". The only time I hug anyone who is not blood is when they force themselves on me. Even with family I don't really hug much except when they initiate. Hugging just seems awkward to me.
