  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

 Hey y'all!!

Well, hubby and I are going to start using NFP as BC for a little while, but he has now decided he only wants 5 because it's hard to get up in the middle of the night. I'm the only one who gets up, besides the dog. I'm hoping when we reach five he decides to have more, that would be good. I'm really hoping for nine, but I figure if he wants to stop having bio children when we reach 5 maybe we can adopt a ton of kids. I guess I really want a large family cause I was an only child. :)

God bless, y'all!!

Only wants 5 :D

DH and I decided at least 4, re-evaluate after that. We're now at 4, only just got my cycle back (12 months post partum) so we're currently talking about it every so often.

We've been getting disrupted sleep (not so much getting up) for 8 years straight now, it does get a bit much after a while.....

Just take it one at a time, and see what God has planned.

Just take things as they come....it's easy to be quiverfull with one child. It's easy to want 9 with one child.

lol, being truly quiverful in practice is very brave!!!

It's easy for me because of my fertility issues I'm not worried about accidentally falling pregnant too quickly, I don't know if I'd be so easily quiverful if like my friend I had 3 under 3 and got pg just by looking at my DH!!!

I'm not sure where we are at. My DH is thinking that maybe three is a good number. I kind of feel like our family won't be complete yet, but who knows! We have at least six months to pray and figure out what God would have us do before we have to worry about another baby. IAC, if we did wind up with a "surprise" baby it would not upset us. Each time we have a baby we just can't imagine our lives without them! :)

When we got engaged, DH said he wanted 10. I laughed. Don't ever laugh.

I'm pregnant with (technically) #10 right now, and I'll be 48 next week. G-d is totally in charge. ;)

I had them one at a time and didn't really think about how many all together we'd have... And it's taken 25 yrs to get to this point, so mine are all spread out. :)
