Howl's moving castle

hey all, just finished watching this anime and i have to say that it's REALLY good.
i'm not really good in giving reviews so here's a brief intro to the anime...
Sophia is a girl who works in a hat shop, one day she was disturbed by these soldiers and Howl saved her, later that day, a witch (forgot her name) went to meet her and put a spell on her, she was turned into a 90 year old lady, feeling scared, she runs away and meets mr turnip who actually is a scarecrow with a turnip head. She goes into Howl's castle and meets Markl and calcifer. She becomes the cleaner of Howl's castle (which in fact is very dirty) and they form a friendship. well i wouldn't want to spoil the story for you, if you want to find out the rest, just go watch it!! yeah and speaking of this, other anime's related to this is "spirited away", "grave of the fireflies" "princess mononoke" all great and touching too (especially grave of the fireflies)

note: sorry if i spelt anything wrong, especially the names of the shows.

oh yeah, anyone want to chat about spirited away or Howl's moving castle i'll be glad to chat. though i haven't watched the rest, hehe

I love the book (by Diana Wynne Jones) and I love Miyazaki, so when the anime came out I went to the theater the first day to see it.

As always with Miyazaki, I was not disappointed. It did stray quite a bit from the book, but as its own thing, it was fabulous.

HOWL'S MOVING CASTLE ROCKS!!! I loved the movie and am trying to get a hold of the book... It's just awesome! Howl rocks my socks!!! xD

I loved the movie! Howl is hilarious..I liked how he started to ooze when he got depressed..hee, he's so prideful

i love it!!! saw it the first week it came out, and bought the book soon after. howl really is a baby! a gorgeous, tantrum throwing magical baby...
i reckon its going to be another Miyazaki classic tho...anyone know how many hes doing after this?

I like the dark-haired Howl... When he was blonde he looked weird. :o

Woah whats this? The we fancy a bit of Howl thread?? Yeah that film was ace, really chilled out and the melting bit was pretty cool! I thought it was much better than Spirited Away, that film was way overated.

Aw! I liked Spirited away...man, they really like to have very obesce people in their films.

I just finished reading the book and I must say, Howl was quite a bit meaner in the book then the movie.
Plus he never had wings..so that really confused me

Oh well..it's still all good!

It is so good! and Howl is soo mean! Plus the scarecrow really didn't have a large part, that was kinda odd considering the movie
