Hello, just saying hi since I guess thats what I'm supposed to do here. I just recently (last 3 or 4 weeks) have decided to look into Messianic Judaism. I guess because I have always felt that the church is too dismissive of torah, and is missing a lot of wonderful blessings, and of course we need to fulfill the commandments. I am not rabbinical at all, although I am looking into it. I simply believe we need to follow torah to the best of our abilities. Oh, and take it easy on the Hebrew when talking to me cause I am just learning. I bought me a brand new $80 set of tapes, and I'm working on it. Anyway... Hi!!!!

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I thought this only went onto the Messianic forum, so no offense intended about the church "missing out" by not following Torah. Just my opinion, and I'm looking into it. Dang it, just got here too.
