Yes I think they need a "traditional Churches" subforum or something if there isn't already one. I'm a bit sick of not being able to talk amongst our respective churches without having every topic invaded by iconoclasts trying to derail every topic.

Re: A traditional forum (this thread is moving pretty fast for a discussion we've decided we're not having anymore...hahaha)

If I were to petition the moderators for anything, it would be to remove the Traditional Theology subforum from its current place where it is hidden underneath the General Theology forum, and move it up to being its own (top level/visible from the "Forums" page) forum, since a lot of people don't know that it is there, since they rightly avoid General Theology like the plague of disorder that it is.

But I'm sure they have better things to do.

Philippians 2:12
Consequently, my beloved ones, just as you have always obeyed, not only during my presence but now much more readily during my absence, keep working out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

Its saying to work out something they already had. They have salvation. As a result of having salvation? They began to wrestle against principalities and powers. For the invisible enemy goes after grace oriented believers to try to get them to fail to do God's will. That pressure is something that needs to be worked out in fear and trembling when it happens. To overcome they needed a crash course in gaining Bible truth done in the power of the Spirit's filling.

Its the religious ones that demons leave alone.

I was thinking about more then just theology though. Like perhaps divide the forum faith groups up into General types with then specific groups under that. I don't know If I would consider OP's question theology but I feel like every time I want a comfy civilized debate between Orthodox, Catholics, and OO (not sure how I feel about some Anglicans maybe the High Church?) it is just impossible to have.

I have no forum.
Yeah, I feel the forum could use some serious reorganization. More Mods, more diversity of Mods- Narrow the boards down a bit to ones people actually need and want, etc

There used to be a forum for Apostolic Churches and it was eliminated because there was no activity in it.

How long ago? Honestly though I find the board list to be really complex. I mean I realize there are a lot of faith groups, but still. Then again the Apostolic Churches generally argue less with each other as I feel we are more familiar with each others differences and know we are set in our own ways.

It's been a while. At least 3 or 4 years I think.

A place for the Catholics, EO, and OO to talk amicably would be neat. We do have the Traditional Theology forum, which is alright, but sometimes it'd be nice to talk more.
