How was your Easter? 2023

How was everyone's Easter? Good, I hope. How did you celebrate? Anything else you want to share?

I spent it with my family. I watched an older Charles Stanley sermon about the resurrection. It was good. I'll post it below:

Had a nice visit and dinner with my folks.

I feel so sad seeing all the kissy couples around so cuddly around each other.

I'm j/k!! But seriously, there's lots of kissy couples around! What's Easter now? Valentines Part II??

Easter was really fun!! Went to the Saturday service, then Sunday I hosted my Singles 30s group at my place for a brunch bar. We made avocado toast and virgin bloody marys. Even got some jackbox games in at the end

Attended services on Holy Thursday, Good Friday, the vigil on Saturday evening, and on Easter Sunday.

I spent Easter weekend with my parents at their retirement community. It was great to see them. We went for several long walks, including one in my old hometown.

There was a brass ensemble at the Easter morning service, which was an unexpected treat. They're quite good.

Good. I’ve been going to Good Friday services past few years, something I never used to.

Went out to eat w/ family on Sunday. (they don’t care to cook & my family too small anyways)
