I am pretty tolerant of others although honestly I have to say that I do have a problem with those who try to ram their beliefs down my throat or try to make me or others feel less than because they don't feel the same way.gehenna said:Just wondering
Since there seem to be people of all different faiths and ideas on this chat, how tolerant are we of one another? Do you find it difficult or easy to talk to others who differ in opinion from you? What do you want those of other faiths to know about you when interacting with you?

I think there is merit in most religions. In this day and age I see no need for animal sacrifice or blood rituals so I'm not fond of religions that still do this. Yes I know the ancient Hebrews did both but IMO in this day and age the actual use of blood and animal sacrifice is not needed. I think we live in an age where symbolism is a great way to shift that pratice. Use red dye instead of blood or bread instead of a chicken etc. I think the belief is what should be important in peoples religions. Outside of these practices I am totally fine with all religions except Satanism. People choose to worship the nemisis of God. Tells me a lot about the state of their hearts :o

I agree with Rick. People we must love, but holding to Him who said: "I am the way, the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father but by Me". The Lord Jesus did not say He was "a" way, or that He was "a" truth, but that He was "the" way and "the" truth.Ric said:I tolerate people, not "religions".![]()
