I am a Christian business student at a state university in Iowa, and just from my experiences, I know it can be very tough to be a Christian in college. It can seem like it is you against the world.

Let me take some of my experiences and hopefully make life a little easier for you.

  1. Christian Friends

Those who you place around you are going to have the greatest influence on you. Who you surround yourself with is who you become.

  2. Stay Cool

This is one that really resonates with me. If someone starts to confront you about your faith, and you do not feel comfortable talking about it, don't. There's no point in getting involved in a theological discussion if you don't feel adequately prepared.

If I am not in the mindset to discuss my thoughts, or don't have the information they are asking for, I simply tell them that and ask them to talk about it later.

  3. Don't Forget to Pray
Prayer can provide a lot of things: comfort, wisdom, and power. Give your struggles to God, and only focus on how you act and react.

This was a new revelation to me recently as I didn't know what it meant to give my problems to God. It just means that you are left to control how you act; and your emotions. That's all. Just keep yourself moving.
