Jesus would not bring anything to kill a person to protect me. Have faith in him. If they kill me and rob me in Satan's World it doesn't matter. As long as I'm following the teachings of Jesus. Jesus is still protecting me.

You sound like a kind person. thank you. You are the reason I decide to post again. I was getting frustrated at how people were talking too one another, including myself I should learn to keep emotions at check. It is not very Christian like

I would like to point out a couple of things for you.
First lets look at John 1:18 again.

John 1:18 No man hath seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.
Well people surly saw Jesus. How can Jesus be God?

Mathew 26:39 And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.

If Jesus was God he can not pray to his self to change his own mind. Jesus and Gods minds are separate. God's mind was already made up. If Jesus was God he would already knew his mind was made up. So his father strengthened his son so that he would be strong enough to do his will. And Jesus went and died for us. Can you image the pain his father felt. His son was asking to let him live and to take the cup from him. But God knows what he is doing and it had to happen and Jesus knew it had to happen also. He had to be the sacrificial lamb for all our sins. My smoking, My watching movies that kill people, My talking to people angry sometimes. all of that. He died for and the least I can do for him is leave my worldly things behind and follow him in truth. To try to be just like him. What a guy.

Remember if a Religion contradicts the bible it is a false religion. If a contradiction arises are you suppose to believe the man side or the bible side of that contradiction? Food for thought anyways.

This is why Marx called religion the opiate of the masses...

Can you not see that Jesus would have stopped at nothing to protect his mother and family? He would have stopped at nothing to protect children, or even the Samaritan...

So it IS all about heaven, then? Nothing matters here... don't worry about starvation or injustice... everything will ok in heaven...

It's not about heaven. It's about faith. In the bible God told his people not to get outside help from nations that are not his. God said he would protect his own. Plus if Jesus was there he would probably help. The scriptures do say that he would kill the wicked. But also he would have showed great mercy if possible. I don't think he would use a shotgun though. lol

Only 144,000 people go to heaven(the anointed ones). That is what the bible says. False Religion teaches entitlement that everyone goes to heaven to sit on clouds and play little harps. While watching our loved ones on earth being killed, raped, robbed, or committing crimes of their own and being powerless to do anything. The dead do nothing. The bible teaches that the rest will be resurrected on a new earth.

New Earth

Isaiah 65:17 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.

God did not make the earth in Vain. It is to be inhabited.

Isaiah 66:22-23 22 For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain. 23 And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD.

Now notice I highlighted flesh.

1 Corinthians 15:50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

Well how can all flesh come to worship before him if we are all in heaven where flesh can not go.

look at this verse again

We were warned false religions would preach against the resurrection.

Any religion that contradicts the bible is a false religion.

Well lets see. This one kills babies. Has laws to protect killing babies. We call it abortion. This one does not turn the other cheek it seeks revenge and makes war. So it is not this one. Gods people don't follow the doctrine of man. If the doctrine of a government defies God or directly violates scripture. It too is a false Religion. Which makes all man made Governments false religions. The people of God that live in the truth are no part of worldly government even though they live in them. They are to give back to Ceasar what is Ceasar's and give back to God what is Gods. They will not follow any man made doctrine.

The people that follow the truth are forced to live in this Satan filled world with no where to go. So they live amongst us. Hated by people for there good works, Hated for not being part of this wicked generation. The bible even says they will be hated in Jesus's name. They do stand apart from the rest of this Satan filled world and have nothing to do with ungodly governments. They worship God with no man made doctrine only the word of God as their doctrine, the bible. The holy spirit fills them so much they are compelled to preach the Good news of the kingdom and when they do they are hated. sometimes even spit on. If you think real hard you can guess who they are. You do see them all the time.

Now notice that is what people do to the people that preach the truth.

Also notice the last line. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. This is talking about when the greater numbers cool off. When more people believe in false religions than the truth. So the ones that speak the truth will be far smaller in number than that of false religions.
That is when wrong becomes right (Abortion, praying to Mary, War, Nationalism, porn) All are accepted and man made laws protect them. Than right becomes wrong.( People that keep the faith will be hated because they say Abortion, praying to Mary, War, Nationalism and porn are wrong). That is the big picture. All those things that are wrong in Gods eyes are legal. So the slaves of God that follow his word and consider those things against God. Are hated for it. That just doesn't make sense. Unless, this is Satan's world. Where evil things become good things and good things become hated things.

God set aside a day of judgement, as well as a place for the guilty. If you don't understand this basic concept, you can't understand why and from what you need to be saved from.

You speak against some of the evil in this world, yet you think God doesn't have plans to judge it? That view makes no sence. If God is good, He will.

Yes my religion is using only the Doctrine of Christ. I do not make up things. I also do what other people don't do. I cross reference. I read all bibles even the Greek version. The King James version is the worst translation that can be used. Although the truth is still in it you have to weed through apostates the church has done to the bible to hide their apostasies.

Lets look at
2 Thessalonians 1:7-9
7And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
8 in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9. These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power,

Now the first thing you should have added was verse 7 which shows it is Jesus that is on fire in the beginning of verse 8 coming down to take vengeance. He is not taking vengeance with fire. At this time anyways. Now when it says everlasting destruction It does not say that you will be on fire forever. Just like the fires of Sodom a Gomorrah. They went out thousands of years ago but the memory of that destruction has been everlasting.
Here is a different translation of the same verse.

English: Young's Literal Translation

2 Thessalonians 1:7-9 7 and to you who are troubled -- rest with us in the revelation of the Lord Jesus from heaven, with messengers of his power, 8.in flaming fire, giving vengeance to those not knowing God, and to those not obeying the good news of our Lord Jesus Christ; 9. who shall suffer justice -- destruction age-during -- from the face of the Lord, and from the glory of his strength,

Notice in this translation there is no everlasting punishment. It's all about translation and apostasy.
Lets look at the original Greek.


2 Thessalonians 1:9 οιτινες δικην τισουσιν ολεθρον αιωνιον απο προσωπου του κυριου και απο της δοξης της ισχυος αυτου

Now lets look at the definition of this greek word that was translated into destruction.

olethros
ol'-eth-ros
From ὄλλυμι ollumi a primary word (to destroy; a prolonged form); ruin, that is, death, punishment: - destruction.

So look it could have been translated everlasting death. Which would back scripture better than a loving God will torture you forever.

Because the bible says we have paid our price to God with death for our sins. Death is worse than hell. At least in hell I am sombody in death I just do not exist.

Romans 6:23 23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Romans 6:7 For he that is dead is freed from sin.

 If a dead person is freed from all sin how is it than that dead people are punished for their sins forever and ever. Clearly God told us the price of our sins.
1 Corinthians 6:9-10
Or know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with men,
nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

You are correct on this verse that these people do not inherit the Kingdom of God. But it doesn't say they will be tortured forever.

Revelation 21:8

It says that they will have their part in the lake of fire. What happens when something is thrown on a fire. It burns up and is no more. It doesn't keep burning forever. Plus notice they use the word Death. Death means it is over in the bible. Done, Finished. It doesn't say he threw them in the lake of fire to be tortured forever.

Revelation 20:14
And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

First lets cross reference Hell.

Acts 2:25-27 25 For David speaketh concerning him, I foresaw the Lord always before my face, for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved: 26 Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope: 27 Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.

So did Jesus spend three days in hell being tortured. Of course not. Hell means the grave in the bible. So death and the grave shall be thrown into the lake of fire. Well that supports scripture because the bible says there will be no more tears, pain and Death. So yes death and hell will be no more.

Luke 12:4-5 "And I say to you, My friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do. But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear Him who, after He has killed, has power to cast into hell; yes, I say to you, fear Him!"

This basically is saying is that Satan has the power to send you to the Grave. Where you are dead and do not get the gift of everlasting life. Notice it does not say you will burn in a torturous fiery place.

Now lets look at scripture that shows Gods love for us and that he would not torture us forever.

Jeremiah 7:30-31 30 For the children of Judah have done evil in my sight, saith the LORD: they have set their abominations in the house which is called by my name, to pollute it. 31 And they have built the high places of Tophet, which is in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my heart.

Burning people has never came to Gods heart. He did not command them to burn their sons and daughters.
This verse clearly shows that it is not in Gods heart to burn people. So if he wouldn't do it for just a few minutes to someone he would not do it for eternity.

1 John 4:8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

God loves us. Would a parent hold their childs hand over fire to punish them? Of course not, they love them. God would not do something to us that we would not even do to our children. Now if a child grows up a wicked man and is wicked to his family. Does the family throw him in a fire for it. No But they will cut him off from the family, but they will always love them.

I do not deny scripture. I take it very seriously. Very. I don't mess around, I cross reference everything. Do you? Finding God is not about just staying with what is comfortable. It is looking in everyplace. God warned us there would be apostasies and to watch out for them. So have we? No. I have because God is glorious and has commanded us to watch for these things. The things he knew would happen.

Acts 20:30 Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.

2 Peter 2:1-3 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. 2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. 3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.

Make merchandise of you. Just as long as the coffers are filled they don't care about people.

False religion has drawn many disciples after them using apostates. Praying to Mary, Nationalism, Mary the mother of God, Jesus is God, and making war. All are against God and scripture they are man made doctrine and tradition

I do think God has plans to take vengeance on this world.
But he will not punish people for ever. It is not in his heart.

I worship God as the bible wanted. With love. Satan has made it so people think of him as an evil vengeful petty God that will take vengeances by torturing people forever. Satan did it so people would want no part of a God that would force his people to love him.

Love me or I will torture you forever. God hates extortioners. He would not be one.

I stand by my post. If a religion contradicts the bible it is a false Religion. Plus don't be afraid to cross reference. The major Church has done great apostasies to the bible. But the truth is still in it. You just have to look harder because of them evil ones that feel it is their right to change the bible. For instance they Took Gods name out of the bible. If they left his name in it, there would be a lot less confusion. They took his name out to make the trinity make sense. With his name in the bible you can not make the trinity work at all. There is still a few places that they kept his name. But his name was removed in almost the whole bible. Why? Because they had to make Jesus God. To do that they had to confuse people on who was talking.

Isaiah 12:2 Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation.

Exodus 6:3 And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name JEHOVAH was I not known to them.

Psalms 83:18 That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, art the most high over all the earth.

If they were willing to keep his name in the bible in some places. Why not keep it in all places? Why just take it out in certain places and leave it in others? Because it would show the apostasies they had done. So they took his name out where it was convenient for them, where it would hurt them.

In most bibles this verse ( Psalms 83:18) was untouched because it's hard to take a name out when it is saying my name is Jehovah. But I was just given a new bible as a gift (The Open Bible New King James Version, Thomas Nelson Publishers) and it has a new apostate in it. This is the first time I have ever seen a bible take his name out completely. It now says.

Psalms 83:18 That men may know that thou, whose name alone is Lord, art the most high over all the earth.

Makes me angry. How dare them change the bible for their own selfish needs.

Here is a good example of the confusion created by taking Gods name out.

Revelations1:8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.

This used to say Jehovah but they changed it to be Jesus. So that people will think that Jesus is God. Jesus is not the one talking here.

I do take Jesus at his word. very much. It is the world that denies him. God did set a day for judgment. I never said he didn't. He will judge the people of the earth. That does not mean he tortures them. That contradicts a loving God now wouldn't that. Like I said contradictions show false religions. They can not hide from the truth.
LT Hopes you keep reading the scriptures and take Jesus at his word. Plus don't forget to cross reference. The King James Bible is the worst translation there is. But that is the one I use for this forum so people can not discredit what I say. If I use a different bible I say which one I used so other people can look also.

All of your reasons for the denial of scripture are based on your own opinions, as you clearly stated "I don't think God would.." ect. Scripture doesn't ever show anything but seperation for those who are not found in Christ.

Your key flaw in that, is your view of what salvation and the gospel are. If you truely believe Jesus, what did He mean by this?

John 3:3
Jesus answered him, I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, that unless a person is born again, he cannot ever see the kingdom of God.

Can you show me any place in scripture that says this will take place after death, or one can earn in through some type of short term punishment?

What ya say Dan, should we throw all the verses away that talk about the resurrection and the new Earth. Because you think it is all wasted space and means nothing. May be we should just remove them from the bible all together so people won't believe in the LOVE of God.

I came on these posts to show people that false religion is integrated itself in all modern religion. I don't do it because I like people bashing me. I do it out of love and bloodguilt. The people that follow the truth see what is going to happen and we want to save as many as possible. You can deny it, That is fine. God did give you free will. If you don't believe what I'm saying go look up everything I have said. Go ahead it's not scary, it's the truth. Really though I mean it. Look it all up show me how wrong I am. I want you too. Why do you do it?

So how does believing God is an extortioner show his love for mankind?

John 3:3

I agree. You are correct. But where does it say you burn in a fiery hell forever. You don't make sense. Your trying to prove to me that Hell is a real place where Satan and demons live to torture the wicked.

Please show me the verse that shows Satan is Master in hell and the demons are his army torturing people.

You won't. It is a man made belief.

Plus If God sent us to be tortured. Why would Satan help him. He hates God. He knows what God has in store for him. So why would he even bother to help God? That makes no sense. Enemies working at a common goal, but the one still knows he will lose, but keeps helping anyways.

Jesus did tell us what to do when people don't want the truth. They just want to keep following Man. We let the blind lead the blind to the ditch.

False religions contradict the bible.

You denied Christ, His very words. I have shown you where under your rules for proving a false religon, you have also proved yours as one. I am in 100% agreement with scripture.


Much of what you quoted even proves my point. 1 example..

Romans 6:23 23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Note that its through Christ. This scripture does not say everyone has Christ, in fact many deny Him. This is also shown in other scripture your not quoting..

You seem to believe in your religion, that one can otherwise get forgiveness after death, through some suffering, or by the passage of time. There are no bibical grounds for this belief, and it does not fit into scripture.

Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake: some to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt.

Many of your other doctrines I do agree are found in scripture, but this one is just not there.

You haven't shown me nothing. You said people would burn in hell. I said no they didn't. The bible does not say people are tortured forever. I agree that people that believe in Christ with mind body and soul have eternal life. I never said they didn't.

You have not shown me anything. Nothing.

You keep showing me verses where people rewarded for their faith.

Show me where God tortures people. That is the false religion.

I do not deny any scripture. Show me what you are talking about.

So please answer the question you keep avoiding.

Is God an extortioner? Love me or I will torture you forever.

Usually by the loudness of the preacher's voice, his (and, let's face it, it usually is a he) inability to listen to anyone's point of view except his own, and the fact that he concerns himself with irrelevant theological points that are meaningless to anyone but him.

Sounds a bit like LogicalThinker to me; but who am I to judge?

No one has to listen. They don't have to do what I recommend. I am not making anyone. You don't even have to come here and read what I wrote if you don't like it. No one makes you do anything. You do it yourself.

No one has to follow me. I'm not looking for logic disciples. You don't even know who I am. All I'm saying is the road to the true religion is in the bible, To help people see what I'm talking about I try to show them false religion for what it is. It's everywhere. If it is not following the doctrine of Christ it does not have God.

What about all the verses about the Resurrection, New earth, and all flesh shall worship him that are in the bible.

Isaiah 66:22-23 22 For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain. 23 And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD.

Why do you think they are in the bible if they are not a real thing?

Do you think the scriptures about those things are not important?

Why would they be in the bible?

Were they just filling space?

Why would the bible teach that false religions would not teach the resurrection? And then you find almost every Christian religion does not teach of the resurrection. Most people have never even heard about it.

1 Corinthians 15:12-14 12 Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead? 13 But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen: 14 And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.

Why is it in the bible?

Why would it say that people that don't believe in the resurrection preaching in vain? Also why is your faith in vain than?

So Why is all that stuff in the bible?

Is it there to fill space?

To people that don't want the truth. They throw out scripture that is inconvenient for them.

If a religion contradicts the bible it is a false religion.. Check your church doctrine.

Notice you skipped answering any of the questions. And just went back to attacking my character. Why is that?

You say I disagree with everyone. Go back and read the whole post. There is lots of scripture that I say, "yeh I agree with you." or "Your right". And notice that I answer the scripture that people give on this post. No one answers mine they just gloss it over like it is not important. Lets forget about it and it doesn't exist, I guess.

Ephesians 4:4-6 4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; 5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

John 8:31-32 31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; 32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

This isn't the only verses that talks about the one true faith. There is a ton of them. Plus the truth will set you free. Give up this world. everything in it. This is Satan's world.

I bet if you saw false religion the way the bible talks about it. You would be able to see the true faith the bible talks about. I'm not asking for people to follow me. Just that they go look for themselves what I am talking about. Just investigate. Thats all.

Romans :12:1-2 1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Being part of the true faith means being no part of this world. If it is unclean you don't touch it or do it.

If a religion contradicts the bible it is a false religion. You either follow the bible and the word of God or you don't.

I haven't attacked your character. I just see no reason to suppose that someone who spends most of their time attacking other forms of Christianity than your own has anything useful to say.

True Christianity is to love God and love your neighbour, to practise justice and live in peace. True Christianity is to be like Christ. If that's in place, I couldn't give a monkey's if they "prayed to Mary" or believed in 6 impossible things before breakfast.
