How to reconcile myself...

:oI'm a christian. I beleive in Jesus dying for my sins, God walking beside me day by day, and the Spirit protecting and assisting me. I pray a lot.
I'm also a bisexual, and have had multiple partners. <staff edit>
This makes me so confused...I want to be a 'good' christian but the bible clearly states that what I do is wrong. However, the only judge of right and wrong that I have, is my own feelings...<staff edit>
I've prayed so many times for God to take away my temptations, if they are wrong for me; I've asked over and over for Him to be strong for me, where I am weak. But I still have these feelings, these tempting wants. I've stopped acting bisexually but still feel the same...
Any advice from anyone, or similar experiences? I'd like to talk. If it is not appropriate for the forums but you still want to talk please PM me--I don't want to offend anyone.

Hi,
I'll pray for you...

First, temptation isn't a sin. Its when we act on our sin in a behavior or daydream that we cross into disobedience...

Second, your life should be led and rooted in His Word, not in your own feelings. Your feelings will change. Your own heart can lead you astray without the truth of His Word, and the Holy Spirit.

Third, your life is not about you, but about Him... Dedicate yourself to Him, not be so focused on yourself.

Fourth, you may have bi-sexual feelings but you do not have to be controlled by those feelings and/or desires. You must align yourself with His feelings and His desires...that your life would honour Him..

Fifth, you have a desire that is so strong to be loved, accepted. That love and acceptance will only come to you from the love of the Father above... Its a supernatural love, but it fills us and shows us our value, gives us our purpose, and promises our destiny.

As the Spirit of God to help you to see where there are woundings in your life that have caused sexual orientation confusion. Ask and keep asking until He shares w/you the answers to the why of your emptiness and drive toward same sex attraction. Was you abused? Was you fatherless? Was you deprived of sincere, unconditional love, and therefore came to have a gaping hole inside you?

Sixth, His grace is there for you. He'll help you if you are tight with Him on a daily basis. Its good you've abandoned that lifestyle...

Seventh, if you should fail, always fall forward into His grace and love...
