SANCTIFIED : Greek> hagiazo > sancus : 1. set apart for sacred use, consecrated. 2. made holy; purified. 3. free from sin 4. received moral purity. 5. consecrated sacred. 6. made productive/ useful by holiness [without which NO [one] shall see GOD!] Heb. 12: 14

Sanctify them through Your Truth, Your WORD is Truth…neither do I pray for these alone but for them also which shall believe on Me through their WORD. John 17:17, 20

God/the WORD made no difference between them and us. He/the living WORD made/created our hearts/minds clean when we believe. Acts 15: 9 (heart, 2588, thoughts [beliefs, motives)

And now I commit you to God, and to the WORD of His grace, which is able to build you up and give to you an inheritance among all the *sanctified/set aside [w]Holy. Acts:20:32 (*37, Holy, pure)

To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of satan unto God/the living WORD, that they may receive forgiveness/omission of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified/ *set aside HOLY by faith that is in Me. Acts 26:18 (*37, Holy, pure)

…for me to be minister of Christ Jesus to the nations, carrying on as a sacrificial service the message of glad tidings of God, in order that the offering up of the nations might/may be acceptable, sanctified/set aside holiness by the Holy Spirit. Rom. 15:16 (might, 2480, may forcefully)

Whom God/the WORD has set forth to be a propitiation/restoration through faith in His blood, to declare/*publicly proclaim His righteousness/Holiness for the remission/omitting of sins that ARE PAST, through the forbearance of God, To declare/publicly proclaim, I say, at this time/NOW His righteousness/[w]Holiness. Rom. 3:25,26 (declare, to 1731, public proclaim)

But now being made FREE FROM SIN, and become servants to God, we have your fruit unto [w]Holiness, and the end everlasting life. Rom. 6:22 (end, 5056, result, conclusion)

But of Him are you in Christ Jesus, who of God/the WORD is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness/purity, and sanctification/set aside in [w]Holiness, and redemption/ deliverance… But we have the mind of Christ. 1Cor.1:30; 2:16 (redemption, 629, deliverance)

And such were some of you, but you are washed/cleansed, but you are sanctified/set aside [w]Holy, but you are justified/made innocent in the name/nature of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit/ of [w]Holiness of our God. 1Cor. 6:11 (justified, 1344, rendered innocent)

I am crucified with Christ/the WORD, never-the-less I live, yet not I, but the WORD lives in me. For as many of you as HAVE BEEN baptized into Christ have put on Christ.Gal. 2: 20; 3:27

Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ/ the WORD/ Jesus. Let us therefore, as many as be perfect/mentally and morally complete be thus minded/thinking, and if in any thing you be otherwise minded/thinking, God/the WORD shall reveal even this unto you. Never-the-less, whereto we have ALREADY ATTAINED, let us walk by the same rule/standard, let us mind/thinking the same thing. Phil. 2: 5; 3:15,16 [See the reason for perfection… Heb. 10:14]

For you know what commandments we gave you by the Lord Jesus. For this is the will of God, even your sanctification/setting aside in [w]Holiness. And the very God / the WORD of peace sanctify/set you aside in [w]Holiness completely, and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Faithful is He/the WORD that called you, who also will do it. 1Thes. 4:2,3; 5:23,24

But we are bound to give thanks always to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God/the WORD has from the beginning chosen you to salvation/deliverance through sanctification/setting aside in [w]Holiness of the Spirit and belief of the truth. 1Thes. 2:13

By the which will we are sanctified/ setting aside [w]Holy through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. For by one offering He/ the WORD has perfected for ever them that are sanctified/set aside holy. Wherefore Jesus also, that He might/may forcibly sanctify the people with His own blood, suffered without the gate. Heb. 10: 10, 14; 13:12

Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified/ set aside [w]Holy by God / the WORD, Father/Creator, Jude 1: 24 The [w]Holy shall live by belief. Rm. 1:17

Believers, believe the WORD is their Creator and He restored them into His image! NOW, this is NOT a process but is received by faith, not works. Those who believe are delivered!

:holy: SET ASIDE HOLY !:holy:

STUDY and you will not only 'see the point' but 'GET the point,' to be holy and pure! Taken / snatched from the world and cleaned! Totally His, the living WORD's HIS Creation! Holy unto the LORD!’

NO-THING IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR GOD! The WORD we speak!

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. …And all things are of GOD!...

all things are become new! And all things are of GOD!

ALL THINGS ARE BECOME NEW ALL MEANS ALL WHICH MEANS more than even ‘almost’ all things!

AND ALL THING ARE OF GOD!

WHY?

That is because OLD THINGS ARE PASSED AWAY / GONE!

AND WHEN OLD THING ARE mixed WITH ALL THINGS than EYERY- THING is NEW. A NEW BORN!

A NEW CREATION BY GOD! NOW that me a NEW CREATION SINLESS and
NOT JUST sin less than the heathen do, BUT SINNLESS like my Creator is SINLESS! Made BY HIS WORD in HIS IMAGE! Created by HIS WORD! YEP! SINLESS “on earth as it is in heaven.”

Believe it or not to believe it that is the requirement!

itsalldone,

Can you change the colors on your post? I am having a real hard time reading it.

Also what do you mean by this?

"A NEW CREATION BY GOD!

Are you saying that we will not sin after becoming Christians or that God justifies us and sanctifies us at the point of salvation? I am getting confused because you speak in riddles.

May I comment? (Oh just SKIP if the answer's "no"...) ;)

Being a "CHRISTIAN", means being in fellowship with Christ. Specifically, surrendered to His Lordship and Mastery; His very real presence dwelling in our hearts. "I am crucified with Christ---it is no longer I who live but Christ who lives in me; and the life I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the One who loved me and gave Himself up for me..." (Gal2:20)

What about sin? "No one who abides in God sins, indeed he CANNOT sin if the Spirit of God abides in him" (1Jn3:6). But the truth is, no one of God PRACTICES sin (1Jn3:9). The children of God and the children of the devil are thus exposed---by what they do (1Jn3:10). Perfectly parallel to what Jesus said in Matt7, "No good tree produces bad fruit (bad works), no bad tree produces good; therefore you will know them by their fruit."

Yet---we Christians are imperfect. It is our goal to strive for righteousness; yet, frail, Human, error-prone---our sinful nature dead, but not gone; we sometimes stumble, we sin. What we do NEXT exposes our nature. The NEW nature is CONVICTED, we turn to Him and throw ourselves at His feet---in confession, in repentence, in sorrow at our misdeed. We beseach Him---and "He is faithful and just to forgive our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." 1Jn1:9

That's it---Christians sin very little---and certainly not repeatedly, not "PRACTICINGLY". It's not that we must "consciously choose NOT to sin", it's much more simply the consequence of our Spirit-led nature.

RELIGION says, "You ARE what you DO; so DO GOOD that you may impress God. Or god. Or gods, whaddever..."

Christianity says, "You DO what you ARE; you CANNOT do apart from Him; but He indwells you, changing your heart---so what you DO changes CONSEQUENTLY."

Clear as mud???

;)
