How to know you have a large family...

I get the "haven't you found out what causes that" all the time and I only have two. I also get, "are you guys done now?" Um no!

I get the are you guys done now one....it is like i have a boy and a girl so i have "the perfect family" BUT i tell them i am haveing more and their jaws drop to the floor

Wouldn't two or three really BIG kids with big parents constitute a large family...?

That list is SOO hysterically funny!!! Most of that stuff's just life for my and DH's parents, and it was totally normal for us growing up!

Only, his parents got away from buying multiple packages of "family size" meat, and just started butchering cows & putting them in the freezer. That's what I intend to do!

I remember going camping growing up, we'd set up our popup camper and at least one tent on our site.

I'm only pregnant with #3 but people have asked me "Don't you know what causes that?" since I was pregnant with baby 2! It's probably because my kids are so close in age... IAC, my DH and I got a chuckle out of that list! The largest tent at the campground one made us say, "Yep, that will be us someday!" I know what you mean CoastalMom about people thinking that because you have a boy and girl you should just stop because you have a "perfect" family. One lady told me when I was pregnant with our son (we didn't know which we were having at the time) "Hopefully you will have a boy so that you can have one of each." I thought it was a rather odd statement to make, since even if we'd had another girl, we STILL could have had a boy later on. Go figure! LOL!

Since I have two boys and two girls (one of the boys and girls are twins but they are completely different in every way and my son is gigantic compared to his sister, so they don't even seem like twins) people tell we have the absolute most perfect family and then their jaw drops when they ask us if were going to have anymore and I tell them we PLAN on having one or two more in five years, but we'll take whatever God gives us in between. I am constantly getting the 'you have your hands full' bit and I'm so tired of it.
My in laws are terrible with telling us we have too many kids and blame them for us not being as succesfull as them because my husband is an only child. They are trying to punish us for having a big family by not buying us extravagant or as many gifts for christmas and birthdays as they used to. We just think it's hilarious. I know if I get pregnant again, they will disown us. Oh well

I have 3 girls my oldest is almost 4, then i have a 2 year old, and a 1 year old. I get all that time that I am crazy, Am I done, wow you hav e your hands f ull, better you than me, and then I get comments because two of my g irls have albinism,lack of pigment in hair skind and eyes.

My f amily thinks we are insane for not being on bc and letting God take control of our family size. Especially b/c we aren't always in the best finaicial situation but that is mainly b/c for awhile we mismanaged our money and were trying to keep up with my family who are all very materialistic. We can provide f or our kids and yes they may not get everything they want when we go to the store but that is a good thing for them in my o pinion.

Anyways, I am amazed that people think 3 is a large family.
