  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

That is the question!

Any answers?

When Randy is not online I sometimes have a hard time staying busy.
I joined iVillage two weeks ago and HisHolySpace this past week.
I am getting into iVillage, its mainly a women's community.

I just miss being able to connect online with Randy.
I know he is busy working and that's great.
I still miss him terribly.

The Gospel of John is on TBN right now. Narration by Christopher Plummer is good.

Have you two met in person yet?
Me and the apostle John - no
Me and Christopher Plummer - no
Me and Randy - no :( not yet anyway - this summer!

Can you tell I am getting a little loopy.

Yes, it's not easy to wait, but God has His reasons. Trust in that.

Do you scrapbook? I need to seriously get all my photos in some sort of organized manner.

I recently picked up a book and textured pages.
Working on getting things to put in it.
It will be my first since childhood.

I'm not in the trend either, but many women here have designated get-together days for it.

How many do they need? Perhaps I'm misunderstanding the purpose behind their meeting, but then I've never been accused of being a girly girl.

Suspect it is more about fellowship like the old sewing or quilting bees. ;)

Here is a little joke posted by amber4099 in the jokes forum.
OK I think this is funny and I am penticostal...

Ever mindful of the congregation, the Baptist preacher and his wife decided to get a new dog, and knew that the dog also had to be a Baptist.
They visited kennel after kennel and explained their needs. Finally, they found a kennel whose owner assured them he had just the dog they wanted. The owner brought the dog to meet the pastor and his wife.

"Fetch the Bible," he commanded. The dog bounded to the bookshelf, scrutinized the books, located the Bible, and brought it to the owner.

"Now find Psalm 23," he commanded.

The dog dropped the Bible to the floor, and showing marvelous dexterity with his paws, leafed through and finding the correct passage, pointed to it with his paw. The pastor and his wife were very impressed and purchased the dog.
That evening, a group of church members came to visit. The pastor
and his wife began to show off the dog, having him locate several Bible verses. The visitors were very impressed.

One man asked, "Can he do regular dog tricks, too?"

"I haven't tried yet," the pastor replied. He pointed his finger at the dog.

"HEEL!" the pastor commanded.

The dog immediately jumped on a chair, placed one paw on the pastors forehead and began to howl.

The pastor looked at his wife in shock and said, "Good Lord! He's Pentecostal!"

I would like to kill boredom by having the courage to quit my second job...cuz it's a frustrating mixture of boredom and stress all rolled into one.

As for killing boredom at home...seems like my most common cure is dozing off. lol Sad....sad.....sad....

If I'm alone sometimes I 'kill time' by praying for something or someone specifically.
