How to get out of this situation?

Some distant family that I do not like or really even know just invited themselves over this weekend. I cannot stand to be around them! What can I do to make them stay away from me?

Are there any extracurricular or volunteer activities you could get involved in this weekend that would give you a legit reason to be out of the house and busy? You could also say you've got a mountain of homework but if you typically do your hw at home it will be harder to minimize time with them.

I came up with a plan. I'll deal with them for one day, and then just say I already made plans to go visit my GF (she just moved into a new place BTW) and go hide there until they go back home.




EDIT: Okay, wow, I'm really mean for planning this. Oh well!
